In Katie's Defence: The Price Is Right!
Since the breakdown of Katie Price and Peter Andre's marriage, fans and gossip magazines alike have come out in support of the down-to-earth Aussie. What did they expect Pricey to do – sit at home and cry? Surely not.
Was it just me or did anyone else feel slightly sad and a bit guilty seeing the pictures of Katie Price wearing a ‘Team Katie’ T-shirt recently? Obviously she’s a woman with perfectly honed media skills and as a photo opportunity it was marvellous, but it felt like a solitary stand in the face of a very hostile world.
Since the Price/Andre split was announced in May, the nation has rounded on Katie and assumed that ‘It must have been her fault’ or ‘Her partying finally finished it’. The glamour model’s over-the-top display in Ibiza did nothing to quell these opinions and the tabloids have gone into Jordan-hating overdrive.
Peter, on the other hand, finds his professional prospects booming and he is probably punching the air over the amount of positive press cuttings he has garnered. But we don’t really know what happened between them, so how can we side with either star?
